Meet Y. B. Fit
Y. B. Fit is your personal workout and diet consultant. He has been there, done that; failed and succeeded. Y. B. will help you answer the question : Why Be Fit ? Then, put you on the road to maintaining that fitness within your busy schedule.
Lets begin by asking Y. B. some questions about attaining and maintaining fitness.
CMB Fitness :
" Y. B., Why did you decide to be fit ? "
Y.B. Fit : " That's my
last name, it was given to me. HA Ha HA! All kidding aside, I
never worked out, was too busy, never much of an athlete during my school days.
Then I got a little older and the weight came on all of a sudden, life became
complicated. Didn't know what to do. My doctor wanted me to lose
weight and warned me that eventually if left unchecked, it would affect my
total well being. Sure enough it did ! At my next routine check up I
was diagnosed with high blood pressure and Type 2 Diabetes. I was out of
control, upset and now on medication for both problems. My doctor said : "
Work on losing the weight and these problems will go away as fast as they came,
Y. B. "

" So , what happened next ? "
Y. B. Fit :
"
Oh, I got real with myself and became determined to get out of this situation.
I just needed to help my body help itself. You know the body is an
unbelievable machine that works like a well tuned car engine, put it out
of sync and it's liable to shut down. So, I checked with my doctor first
as to what kind of exercise I should start with. Then I looked at my diet,
tweaked all the unhealthy items out of it and stated to walk four to five times
per week . All of a sudden the weight slowly came off ! I was happy
to eat healthier, not that I deprived myself of food, just got rid of the junk .
Boy, did I have energy to do things again. I was a happier person and
sincerely doubt that I'd ever go back to my old habits again. Most
importantly, I'm healthy again. Blood pressure is normal and the diabetes
is a thing of the past as long as I continue eating right and exercising.
